LAWRENCEVILLE—The Broncs were swept by Drexel Saturday. “The teams were about even, and in close matches the team that wins the doubles point usually wins the match, and that’s what happened today,’ said Rider head coach Ed Torres.

For the Rider men, freshman Casey Jedlinski (Manalapan) won at third singles, senior Mike Greenberg (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock) won at fourth singles, and the two combined to win at second doubles.

“Casey and Mike both had great come-back wins today,” said Torres.  “They both lost the first set but came back to win. That showed a lot.”

For the Rider women, junior Caitlin Crawbuck (Jacobstown, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) won at second singles and first doubles with her twin sister Devin, defeating the twin sister doubles team of Emily and Melissa Lewis.

Rider hosts La Salle in the final match of the fall season Sunday.
