It wasn’t pretty, with 50 turnovers between the two teams, but the Broncs will take it. “If you are going to have a special season, you need to grab some of these along the way,” said Rider head coach Tommy Dempsey. “Once you get into the league play, it’s not always going to be pretty, you aren’t always going to feel like you played your best, but it really doesn’t matter anymore. It is about the end result, winning or losing.”

Tammy Meyers

Despite 18 points from sophomore Tammy Meyers (Willingboro) and 17 points from senior Janele Henderson (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin), the Broncs lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at Manhattan Monday night.  “We got our offense going a little bit and we had some success going with a smaller lineup in the second half on the defensive end,” said head coach Lynn Milligan.  “That kind of put us out of sync offensively.”
