Women’s Track & Field Rider Team of the Year
LAWRENCEVILLE—The women’s track & field program was named the Rider University Team of the Year for the 2006-07 academic school year, it was announced Tuesday.
The women’s track & field team won both the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference indoor and outdoor Championships last year.
“We are very proud of our indoor and outdoor MAAC championships and record setting postseason performances,” said Rider head coach Rob Pasquariello, who was named the Rider Coach of the Year. “The team was also honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as 2007 All-Academic teams. To now be recognized by our own institution as the Team of the Year means a great deal to our student athletes and coaches. It is a validation for all our hard work and dedication throughout the year.”
