131-103 record during his nine seasons at Rider. Led his teams to four conference championship games, two championships and two NCAA appearances. Acquired 100 victories faster than any other Rider coach. Twice voted NEC Coach of the Year; also was a Metropolitan Basketball Writers Coach of the Year and a New Jersey Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year. Went 40-6 in Alumni Gym against NEC teams. Inherited a 5-23 team, and improved every year until going 21-9 in 1994. Won 18 or more games in a season five times.
