Leo was a member of the Rider Basketball Booster Club Hall of Fame for compiling 1,332 points, which was a Rider record at that time and he is now seventh highest ever at Rider. His final season was Rider's first-ever 20 win season. He was also an outstanding baseball player at Rider; he holds Rider career records in pitching for wins (26), innings pitched (263.1) and complete games (19). He was 26-7 in four years for teams that were 53-22, possessing half of his teams wins and only a third of their losses.
