2006-07 CAA Wrestling Awards
Rider’s Mike Miller / Rob Morrison All-Rookie Honors
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—The Colonial Athletic Association has announced that Rider freshmen Mike Miller and Robbie Morrison were voted CAA All-Rookie honors by the league head coaches.
Miller (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine), a Finance major, went 24-15 at 184, finishing second in the CAA tournament, advancing to the NCAA Championships in Detroit Michigan. Miller was one of six Broncs to advance to nationals.
Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff), a Business Administration major, placed fourth at the CAA tournament at 165. Morrison is the younger brother of junior 197 T.J. Morrison and the son of Tim Morrison, an All-American wrestler at Rider in 1983 and a member of the Rider Athletics Hall of Fame.
The Broncs were third in the CAA and placed 30th at nationals with junior Don Fisch (Williamstown, N.J./Delsea) bringing home All-American honors with a fifth place finish at 141.
