Paul A. Falkenstein, PH.D.
Vice President, Product Development Processes / Planning
Becton Dickinson Diagnostics
Dr. Falkenstein joined Becton Dickinson in 1998 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and general management. His current responsibilities include the worldwide planning and implementation of the PACE process for strategic new product development initiatives and to develop processes that lead to expansion into new growth platforms. Dr. Falkenstein’s experience lies in the planning and staging of new product introductions and portfolio planning for sustained business growth. He has over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry with companies including Johnson & Johnson and I-Stat Corporation.
Steven J. Lorenzet, PH.D.
Associate Dean and Associate Professor
Rider University
Dr. Lorenzet is the associate dean and an associate professor of human resource management in the College of Business Administration at Rider University. He is also the former director of Cultivating Resources for Excellence in the World of Work CREWW), a program providing leadership and interpersonal skills training to college students. He teaches courses in human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Lorenzet is an active organizational researcher. His articles have appeared in several journals and publications and his work has been presented to numerous professional organizations including the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Society for Human Resource Management. His research has received multiple awards, including the prestigious Citation of Excellence from Emerald Management Reviews. Dr. Lorenzet is also an active consultant working with pharmaceutical, financial, publishing, military and academic organizations.

Barry Rabner

Mr. Rabner has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fast-changing healthcare landscape. As president and CEO of Princeton HealthCare System PHCS), he oversees one of the region’s most progressive and respected healthcare networks comprised of the University Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton House Behavioral Health, Merwick Care Center, Princeton Rehabilitation Services, Princeton Home Care Services and Princeton Surgical Center. In all, PHCS’s numbers add up to more than 450 beds, 2,800 employees, 45 residents and fellows from the UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Residency Training Programs, and an active medical staff of 950 physicians and dentists. Its annual operating budget is approximately $320 million. Mr. Rabner’s professional accomplishments include his recent selection as the 2007 Leader of the Year by the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, which honored him as an individual whose “ideas, vision and hard work have led to significant tangible benefits in our community.
