Current Research Agenda
My scholarly interest lies in the exploration of factors that influence child and adolescent psychological, behavioral, and academic/cognitive development.  This overarching theme subsumes three related sub-themes: prenatal factors, child maltreatment, and psychological assessment of children. All sub-themes are relevant to school psychologists, counselors, and educators.  They are also directly connected to many of the ten courses that  teach across three different graduate programs:  school psychology, counseling psychology, and special education.
