Ms. Rebecca Basham

Assistant Professor of English

Degrees: B.A., M.A. Southeastern Louisiana University; M.F.A. University of New Orleans

Professor Basham received an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of New Orleans in 2001. She has won the Michael Kanin National Playwriting Award, William Morris Award, Jane Chambers National Playwriting Award and the Sundance Award for her stage play, "Lot's Daughters" and has continued to write and have plays produced throughout the country. Her specialties are playwriting and screenwriting as well as Gender and American Studies.
