Classical Music Library:
Classical music library is a classical music service that enables listening and learning at library and home computers. It includes around 15,000 recordings, along with program notes, composer biographies, and images cross-referenced to the recordings.

Copyright Term and the Public Domain in the United States - 1 January 2005:
This very comprehensive chart presents the most current information regarding the use of unpublished works, works of corporate authorship, works spanning certain dates, and their associated copyright terms. Also available in Portable Document Format (.pdf).

Grove Music Online:
Now includes The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians and The New Grove Dictionary of Opera in a single seamless search engine! 

IPA Source:
"Online since 2003, IPA Source is the web's largest library of International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions and literal translations of opera arias and art song texts. Now with over 2500 texts!"

Musical America:
The same databases as the print addition, with regularly updated information which includes daily industry-specific news stories, performance revies, and searchable archives of past news, reviews, etc.

Music Index
Current music periodical literature. The principal index to more than 600 music periodicals, including book reviews, record reviews, first performances, and obituaries. The database now includes the 1975, 1976, 1977 Music Index Cumulations, and also includes enhancements to full text linking with JSTOR participants. Access to this database is restricted to within Talbott Library.

The Music-In-Print Series:
This includes the Music-In-Print volumes on Sacred Choral, Classical Vocal, Orchestral, String, Classical Guitar, Woodwind, and Piano Music In Print.

The Naxos Music Library
The most comprehensive collection of classical music available online. It includes the complete Naxos, Marco Polo and Dacapo catalogues of over 85,000 tracks, including Classical music, jazz, World, Folk and Chinese music.

Oxford Reference Online: A cross-searchable resource incorporating content from the social sciences, humanities, science, and medicine. Music resources are located under the "performing arts" heading, and include the Oxford Dictionary of Dance, Concise Oxford Dictionary of Music, Concise Oxford Dictionary of Opera, Who's Who in Opera, and the Concise Oxford Companion to the Theatre. 

RILM Abstracts of Music Literature: *
An international journal of abstracts in English of current scholarly literature on music in all languages including books, articles, commentaries, prefaces to editions, dissertations, and reviews. 

RISM: Repertoire International des Sources Musicales: *
RISM series A/II, "Music Manuscripts after 1600", is a comprehensive, annotated index to music manuscripts after 1600. There are currently 412,000+ records in the database, with approximately 20,000 added each year. Some of the indexed fields include manuscript location, provenance, source form (score, voice, etc.), library sigla, and composer. Information is derived from approximately 600 libraries and archives in 31 countries. 

Thesaurus Musicarum Latinarum (TML) (Indiana University: Center for the History of Music and Literature)
The Thesaurus Musicarum Latinarum (TML) is an evolving database of the entire corpus of Latin music theory written during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
