BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.S.) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Business Administration Major will provide students with a general business focus, and is appropriate for students who do not want to concentrate in a particular functional area, but instead intend to pursue one of the following goals:

  • Attend graduate school, such as law school or a MBA or Ph.D. program
  • Enter a management training or marketing program with a future employer
  • Enter a family business or start a new one

This major is housed in the Department of Business Policy and Environment. The faculties in this department have academic credentials and are trained professionals in the fields of law and strategic management. The program consists of 6 major learning areas:

  • Business Core  27 credits
  • Business Major Courses 18 credits
  • Business Electives  6 credits
  • Non-Business Core 45 credits
  • Liberal Arts Electives 15 credits
  • Free Electives  

    A candidate for graduation must complete a minimum of 120 credits. 

    The following is a list of transferable courses from the Associate of Science degree in Business Administration (AS.BUA) or Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management Technology (AAS.BMT) from Burlington County College that will satisfy requirements towards the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Rider University.
