American Chemical Society
Student Affiliate of the American Chemical Society at Rider University
- This chapter is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Edwin Roth whose commitment to his students inspired them to share their interest in chemistry with others.

Congratulations to the Rider SA-ACS
Once again the SA-ACS have been given and honorable mention award by the national ACS student affiliate for its community and outreach activities for the 2005-2006 academic year.
National Chemistry Week
This year National chemistry week was from October 22-28, 2006. The Student Affiliates along with ACS members from the Trenton Section of the American Chemical Society and students from Mercer County Community College presented demonstrations on "Clean Chemistry" to elementary school students in our region. Over 500 students participated in the classroom demonstrations and to top it off, everyone got to make Slime!!
The National Chemistry Week for 2007 is Otober 21-27 and the theme is The Many Faces of Chemistry.

Super Science Weekend
Held every year at the State Science Museum in Trenton, Super Science Weekend is a great event for kids ages 7-107. The Student Affiliate again worked with other chemists in the local community to put together a number of chemistry-related demonstrations. This year's event was held on May 19-20, 2007.
