Course Syllabus & Related Information

Welcome to a new Fall semester!

You will find important information regarding your Fall 2008 Weekend Courses and/or Eight-Week Evening Alternate, Distance Learning & Alternate Format Courses

Click on the course title to access the course syllabus and first class meeting assignment. We encourage you to contact your professor directly if you have any questions about the course syllabus or assignments.

PRINT AND READ THE COURSE SYLLABUS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SEMESTER (September 3, 2008).
Most alternate format courses have a reading and/or assignment due for the first day of class.  You must be prepared for your first class meeting.

It is your responsibility to check this web site periodically before your first class meeting in the event your professor posts additional information or re-submits the course syllabus.

ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS FOR CCS ALTERNATE FORMAT COURSES
Both the CCS staff and the faculty who teach CCS alternate format courses have specific expectations of our students who enroll in any CCS alternate format course.

ATTENDANCE IS MANADATORY.
Please check the alternate format course calendars. If you find that you are not able to attend all class meeting dates for your particular course, you should change your schedule and select another course that you can attend. If there is an emergency situation that causes you to be absent during the semester, you must notify your faculty immediately or as soon as possible using your Rider e-mail address.  You are also expected to be on time for every class.

MAKE-UP OR REVIEW SESSION.
Plan to attend the make-up/review session.  The make-up/review session is used at faculty discretion.
If you have any questions or concerns about the expectations for alternate format courses, please contact CCS or your academic advisor at 609-896-5033.  We wish you a successful spring semester
