Science for Business Minor (20 semester hours)
Introductory Biology Course
(integrated course with business faculty participating)
3 Credits

One course from the following:

  • BIO 100 Life Science: Human Emphasis
  • BIO 101 Life Science: Cell Biology and Genetics Emphasis
  • BIO 106 Life Science: Human Disease Emphasis
  • BIO 108 Life Science: The Biology of Human Aging
  • BIO 107 Life Science: Biopsychology Emphasis

  • BIO 221 Human Anatomy and Physiology I
  • BIO 222 Human Anatomy and Physiology II
  • BIO 265 Genetics
  • BPY 275 Behavioral Neuroscience

One of the following:

  • HTH 205 Introduction to the Health Care Sector
  • ECO 336 / HTH 336 Economics of the Health Care Sector

Important Notes

  • A grade of C or better in each course is required for successful completion of the minor.
  • Courses with an HTH prefix will count as liberal arts courses for business students.  The HTH 336 course is cross-listed with ECO 336.  If the business student registers for the HTH designation, the course count as a liberal arts course, and if the business student registers for ECO designation, the course will count as a business course.
