Advanced Theory + Practical Executive Input: Faculty
While at Rider, you learn from faculty members who are recognized experts in their field. Rider's faculty - 96% of whom hold doctorial degrees - conduct research on a range of business issues and are regularly published in leading journals such as Global Business and Finance Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, and Non-Profit World. And, they combine this research with business experience to give you a solid understanding of how the theory taught in the classroom applies to the world of business.
Leadership Skills
At Rider, we have developed five seminars that cover essential management and team-building skills such as listening, leadership, time management, stress management and career management.
International Experience
A key component is a seminar on international business, which includes about two weeks of travel to places uch as Eastern Europe, Asia, or South America. The location will depend on the interests and needs of the integrated group. Through a series of site visits, you will meet with business leaders, develop relationships with overseas firms, and get an up-close look at how business is done in some of the world's most dynamic emerging markets.
