University of Texas at Arlington; Experimental/Cognitive Psychology/Social Psychology/Psychology and Law

Dr. Heath is interested in topics in psychology and law such as eyewitness memory and juror decision-making.

I received my bachelors degree in psychology from Boston University (1983) and my masters (1987) and doctorate (1992) in Experimental Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington (Major: Cognitive Psychology; Minor: Social Psychology).

After working as a Research Analyst at a consulting firm in Washington, DC and teaching on an adjunct basis at George Mason University and Marymount University, I arrived at Rider University in 1993, pleased to be able to use my skills in teaching and research in one location!

Since my arrival at Rider, I have pursued research in my prime area of interest: psychology and law, investigating such topics as juror decision-making. I am pleased to state that I frequently collaborate with students on this research and have also sponsored Student Independent Study projects on psychology and law topics.
