English majors at Rider enjoy many opportunities to hone their writing skills and expand their classroom education.  Students can get feedback or attend workshops on writing, apply for internships, take part in English-oriented clubs and activities, and attend readings by accomplished authors.  The Fine Arts building holds a computer writing classroom with eighteen networked stations with recessed monitors, state-of-the-art equipment, projection capability, and internet access.  The Department also designates awards and honors to accomplished undergraduates.
