American Studies
American Studies offer more than just a curriculum. We offer a broad, practical major that is intellectually challenging, yet highly flexible. As an American Studies major, you will examine American culture from a variety of perspectives, while learning excellent analytical and writing skills. Because of its flexibility, the 36-hour major allows you to combine disciplines. Our students find that American Studies is an ideal double major with fields such as education, history, English, communications, and the social sciences. Individualized interest, diverse course selection, and distinguished guest speakers provided you with an exciting and unique opportunity to study the American experience.
