Major Requirements

Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is one of the most important areas in business today.  A degree in GSCM will prepare students for a diverse and interdependent world by teaching them and giving them real world experiences through a system wide look at integrative business management.

The courses below outline the requirements for successful completion of the academic program for students who enter into the program during the Fall 2009 or Spring 2010.

Introductory Coursework ( 3 semester hours)
GSC-115 Introduction to Global Supply Chain 3
Major Coursework (21 semester hours)
GSC-325 GSCM:  Internal 3
GSC-335 GSCM:  External 3
GSC-345 Customer Focus 3
GSC-445 Design of Supply Chain Systems
One International Business elective (there is a certain list to choose from)
Two upper-level GSCM electives (there is a certain list to choose from) 6
Experiential Coursework (6 semester hours - choose one of the following options)
GSC-399 Co-op 6
OR
Internship (3 credits) PLUS another Business elective (3 credits) 6

For graduation students must achieve an overall GPA of 2.0 or better in the major, with no course grade less than C-.
