The Emerging Leaders Program is open to all new students who have an interest in getting involved and developing their leadership skills.  Whether you were involved as a high-school leader or you now have an interest, you are encouraged to participate.  You’ll be introduced to leadership basics and receive important advice that will help guide you during your first year at Rider.

Established by the Leadership Development Group, the Emerging Leaders Program, has produced some of the major leaders on the Rider campus.  The Board is comprised of professional staff and students that meet regularly to plan and implement leadership development initiatives throughout the year.  Members of the Leadership Development Group have achieved success as Student Government leaders, Resident Advisers, Student Center managers and Greek leaders.  Nearly everywhere you look, students who started their Rider experience as an Emerging Leader have made a significant impact in the Rider community as well as in the job marketplace.
