Human Resource Management Association (HRMA)

The Human Resource Management Association is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management Association is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which is the largest professional HR association in the country.

The HRMA is a student organization committed to building knowledge, scholarship, and service in the area of labor and industrial relations, employment, and human resource management.  The HRMA was developed to serve students primarily in CBA; however, membership is open to all Rider students with an interest in the field.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in Alexandria, VA awarded the Superior merit Chapter designation to the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) at Rider University for an outstanding job of providing opportunities for growth and development to members in 2007-2008.

“The Society for Human Resource Management’s Student Chapter Superior Award recipients stand out among our more than 400 affiliated student chapters because of their efforts to provide networking and educational opportunities for their members. In doing so, they demonstrate their dedication and commitment to the human resources profession, as well as strengthen our organization and advance the field of human resources,” said Chuck Salvetti, SHRM’s Student Programs manager.
