The American Business School in Paris, France

What’s study in Paris about?
This program is specifically designed for business students who wish to complete their business program requirements, while simultaneously gaining French language and cultural skills and completing liberal arts course requirements and electives.

How much does it cost?
For Rider students, the study abroad fee is equal to Rider tuition.  The fee includes tuition and administrative expenses. Transportation, room, board and incidentals are not included.  Rider University students who receive financial aid will continue to do so during their study abroad.  Contact Student Financial Services for further information.

Must I speak French to attend?
No prior French language knowledge is required, but it is strongly recommended that students undertake some French language study prior to study abroad.  Students can enroll in French language courses while abroad in addition to their business courses.

Where Will I Live and Eat?
Rider students live in apartments secured through our affiliation with the American Business School.  The apartments have kitchen facilities, or students can eat in the university cafeteria and local restaurants.

What Courses Can I Take?
Business courses are taught in English by international faculty and count as equivalents of required or elective courses for Rider business majors and minors. French language and culture courses in French are available as well as German and Spanish language. A number of liberal arts courses are offered in English.

How Do I Apply?
Visit the Rider Study Abroad webpage at www.rider.edu/studyabroad for application information and application and reference forms.  Application deadlines are March 1st for fall and October 1st for spring.
