Rider to Host Youth Technology Summer Camps

Rider University will host day and overnight iD Tech Camps, the largest summer computer camps in the country, on its Lawrenceville campus, 2083 Lawrenceville Road. The weekly camps will begin Sunday, June 21, and end Friday, August 7. More than 350 youths, ages 7 to 17, will participate.

The camps, held at 60 of the country’s best colleges and universities, offers beginner to advanced courses in video game creation, 3-D modeling, video editing, programming, robotics and designing Web sites. Under the guidance of a professional staff, students have fun while gaining technical skills in products like Adobe®, Apple®, Autodesk®, Canon®, and Microsoft®. In the afternoon, participants will have a chance to engage in Tech-Recreation activities like ultimate Frisbee or team-building games, or work on their projects.

Courses are still available for iD Tech camps at Rider University.
