Courses/ Programs for High School Students

Are you a high school student who is looking to take college classes while you are still in high school?

Rider University welcomes you to apply for our Gifted and Talented Program.

The Gifted and Talented Program is designed  to give high school students the opportunity to take college courses at Rider and earn college credits while still in their senior year of high school.

While attending classes at ider, students will get a strong sense of the college course experience, which in turn will prepare them for their next steps.  The program will also allow the gifted student the opportunity to get a head start on their degree.

Upon acceptance into the program, students go through an orientation session which will allow them to get acclimated to the University.

How to Apply

Students are required to fill out Section I of the application.

  • Submit an official high school transfer and letter of support from the high school.  See Section II of the application.
  • Submit a non-refundable application fee of $50, payable to Rider University.  Clearly print yor name and social security number on the check or money order.
  • Submit the completed application to Rider University, Office of Admissions, 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is $435 per credit for the 2008-2009 academic year.

  • A technology fee of $35 will be applied for each course.
