Maintaining Your Scholarship
Merit based scholarships are awarded to students upon admission to Rider. These scholarships are annually renewable for four years, provided that each year you maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and full-time enrollment status as specified in your acceptance letter. If you do not meet the CGPA requirement at the end of the academic year you will not continue to receive the scholarship until the CGPA requirement is satisfied. If you achieve the required CGPA at the conclusion of the fall semester, one-half of the scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester. If lost, a scholarship can be reinstated only once.
Additionally, if you do not meet the CGPA requirement at the end of the academic year, you may enroll in summer courses to raise your CGPA to meet the requirement. If you meet the required CGPA by the end of Summer Session II, you will continue to receive the scholarship for the Fall and Spring semester provided that you are enrolled full-time.
CGPA requirements for maintaining your merit scholarship are as follows:
- Presidential Scholarship (Freshman Scholarship): Renewable up to four years if recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.00
