Certification Programs at RVCC

Certification Programs in Educational Leadership at Raritan Valley Community College

Rider University now offers course work leading to principal certification or a Master of Arts in Educational Administration at Raritan Valley Community College. Course work for the certification program is offered in a cohort format, two courses per semester. This program is also relevant for teachers interested in course work leading to the M.A. in Educational Administration or School Business Administrator certification.

If you possess a school supervisor certificate, six courses will enable you to be eligible to obtain certification as a school principal, upon successful completion of the required state examination. The six courses are offered at the Raritan Valley Community College campus, two per semester.

If you are interested in obtaining a Master of Arts in Educational Administration, these six courses are part of the program sequence and will apply towards the 36 credit Master degree at Rider, leading to the principal or school business administrator certificate.
