I'm Ira Mayo, Associate Dean of Freshmen. I look forward to meeting our new students and their families this summer. The transition from high school to college can be difficult and our job is to make this go as smoothly as possible. Hello everyone and welcome to Rider University! My name is Beth Bouchard, and I am the Coordinator of the New Student Resource Center and Orientation. We have a great Orientation program planned for you this summer and the Orientation Staff and I are looking forward to meeting all of you and your family members when you visit us this summer. We are excited to help you start your time here with us and are ready to help you in any way you need and have a fun time introducing you to the campus and other new students!

Hi class of 2011! My name is Mike. I am from Hillsborough, NJ. I知 a junior Fine Arts major with a concentration in Theater, and I am a Communication Radio and TV minor. I am an active member of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Honorary Theater Fraternity. I have also participated in the Rider Vibes, Rider痴 first a cappella group, as well as many theater productions. During the year you can find me hanging around the theater department. I知 really excited to be a part of Orientation Staff, and I will see you all soon!

Hello everyone, my name is Krys. I知 a sophomore Speech and Interpersonal Communications Major with a minor in Spanish. I知 interested in community service and active in Rider SERVES and Alpha Phi Omega, the community service fraternity. I知 also the public relations chair of the Rider Ultimate Frisbee Team and work as a lab monitor. When I知 not doing things here at Rider, I知 very involved in the Rotary Youth Leaders Academy (RYLA). Last year I was the vice president of the Ziegler Residence Hall Association, and this coming year I will be a Resident Advisor in Gee Hall. I知 looking forward to getting to know all of you at orientation!

Welcome Class of 2011! I知 Tama, and I知 a junior Public Relations major and Event Planning minor. I am also the president of the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), social chair of Black Student Union (BSU), and treasurer of Rider痴 Organization of Caribbean Affiliated Students (ROCAS). Also, I知 a tour guide and a Resident Advisor in Poyda Hall. I知 really excited to help you begin your journey here at Rider!

Hey everyone! I知 Ellen, a junior Public Relations major with minors in Event Planning and Gender Studies and a concentration in BHP. I知 a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the Communications Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta, the freshman honor society. Also, I知 the president of Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood and a Resident Advisor in Conover Hall. I知 also a member of PHOCUS, a group of students that serve as role models for responsible decision-making. I知 excited to be a part of welcoming you this summer!
