Qualifications for study abroad:

A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average at Rider University is required.

Good disciplinary standing

Good financial standing

Step 1: Rider Study Abroad Application
Please submit the following additional material with your Rider Study Abroad Application to the CIE by the appropriate deadline above: a) Essay b) Official transcript c) A $50.00 non-refundable application fee payable by check or money order made out to "Rider University" d) Two Reference Forms: two faculty/staff recommendation letters (LAW or WCC)	Rider Application LAW Reference Form WCC Reference Form

Step 2: CIE Documents Students will receive a Study Abroad Application Packet and a Study Abroad Handbook at the first Orientation. VISA: - Exchange Programs: Print the visa document related to the country of your destination. - Provider and Affiliate Programs: Your program provider will supply you with pertinen0t visa information. *If you are not a citizen of the United States, you may need additional documentation to acquare your visa. Step 3: Provider Applications and Documents NOTE: If you are studying abroad on a Rider University program, you DO NOT need to submit to the provider EITHER the provider supplied recommendation forms OR the official copy of your transcipt. The CIE will submit these documents to your Rider affiliate provider for you, along with any study abroad advisor signature approval forms.

AHA International: Please submit the following additional material with your AHA application to the CIE. This application CANNOT be completed online. a) $50.00 check made out to "AHA" marked for "deposit and application fee" b) Copy of your passport information pages NOTE: Rider students applying to AHA programs DO NOT have to pay the required $200.00 deposit. American Business School (ABS) - Paris, France: Print all documents listed for this program. EuroLearn. $30 application fee is waived for Rider students. Waiver code will be supplied by the CIE. The CIE will submit to the EuroLearn your Rider faculty/staff recommendation letters. DO NOT request faculty and staff to fill out the recommendations provided by EuroLearn. In addition, the CIE director or assistant director will sign the required study abroad advisor approval document. However, you are responsible for sending this form to the provider. The CIE recomends that students begin their application process two (2) semestes prior to the desired study abroad semester.	Application What's included

Nebrija University- Nebrija, Spain: Print all documents listed for this program. Note that the application form must be accompanied by all listed items on page 2 of the application except for the photocopy of your medical ensuance, which you can turn into Nebrija upon arrival. Please submit to the CIE the following additional material with your Nebrija application: a) Seven (7) passport sized photos (these photos are for the application and housing) b) Copy of your passport information pages NOTE: 1- On the Nebrija Application- Do Not complete the housing section as all Rider students need to complete a separate Housnig Application (second link). 2- Spanish majors must take one course each semester of their senior year. Exceptions can be made on case-to-case basis. All Spanish minors must take one course minimum upon return from study abroad. 3- Students may only take 2 courses in English on the DEHESA Campus.Students must provide a justification that these courses are necessary for the students' academic program.
