As we celebrate 150 years of Rider during the 2014-15 academic year, we hope you will join us to commemorate the past, celebrate the present and look forward to an even brighter future!  Please click on the links to see more information about individual events.



Sept. 16:   150th Celebration Kick Off Day! Morning Welcome tent in front of BLC

Sept. 16:  Cranberry Fest, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Campus Green

Sept. 16:  150th Celebration Kick Off Event featuring historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, presentation at 5 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) followed by a Toast to Rider reception

Oct. 1:  A Night with WWE Superstar Darren Young, Sponsored by the Student Entertainment Council, 8 p.m. in Cavalla Room

Oct. 5:  Annual Lawrence Township Community Day, 12:30-4 p.m. in Village Park

Oct. 20:  A Night with Norm Lewis, Sponsored by the Student Entertainment Council, 8 p.m. in Yvonne Theater

Oct. 22: Marion Buckelew Cullen Center Ribbon Cutting with the Westminster Community, 11:30 a.m.; performance and presentation of Sesquicentennial Medals of Excellence (by invitation only), 12:00 p.m.

Oct. 24:  College of Business Administration 150th Celebration Benefit Gala at TPC Jasna Polana, 6-10 p.m.; dining, dancing and silent auction; presentation of Sesquicentennial Medals of Excellence and CBA Lifetime Contribution Awards

Oct. 26:  Marion Buckelew Cullen Center Community Open House, 1-5 p.m.

Oct. 29-Nov 2:  Rider Theatre: A Doctor In Spite of Himself


Nov. 8:  Family Weekend including Legacy Breakfast, Founders Day Ceremony, Guinness World Record attempt, basketball game and more

Nov. 10:  Veterans Day ceremony and American flag display

Nov. 15:  Westminster Williamson Voices Concert Spiritual Lights

Nov. 20:   Gender Studies program 35th Anniversary celebration featuring keynote speaker Tiffani Lennon ’97, 6 p.m. in North Hall
