NOVEMBER 17, 1997- RIDER UNIVERSITY HOSTING FINAL FALL OPEN HOUSE




LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Rider University will hold the final of three fall semester open houses on Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Student Center on the Lawrenceville campus.

The program will include tours of the campus and will give participants the opportunity to speak with faculty members from the College of Business Administration and the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences. Representatives from Westminster Choir College of Rider University will also be present.

Information will be provided on Rider's financial aid and scholarship opportunities, internships, career placement, study abroad programs, and admissions procedures. Current students will also be on-hand to discuss extra-curricular activities, student organizations, and campus life.

Rider University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Ninety-five percent of the faculty hold a doctoral or other appropriate advanced degree. There are no teaching assistants in the classrooms or laboratories; only fully qualified faculty members.

The undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Business Administration are accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The undergraduate and applicable graduate programs in education are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The programs of Westminster Choir College are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).

In addition, U.S. News and World Report has again ranked Rider in the top tier of northern colleges and universities based on the quality of its programs.

Rider University's Lawrenceville campus is located five miles south of Princeton and three miles north of Trenton on Route 206 in Lawrence Township. The campus is one-half mile south of exit 7A of Interstate 95.
