LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- With the stock market's fickle reactions of recent days, what will business be looking like in six months? What will it look like in the year 2000? What will it take to keep momentum going?
No one knows for sure, but there are a few top business trend forecasters in the U.S. who have been consistently right for years. For the first time, five of them will meet on the same stage to hold "FutureDay" -- a live, closed-circuit, national seminar on the future of business to be held on Wednesday, November 12, and originating from the Rosemont Theater in Chicago.
Rider University's College of Business Administration will be one of more than 100 universities, colleges and business schools nationwide to serve as a host for the conference. With the satellite hookup, it is possible for thousands of business leaders to participate across the country.
The FutureDay speakers will be:
- Lester Thurow, a MIT economist and author of the bestseller, The Future of Capitalism,
- John Naisbitt, futurist and author of the bestseller, Megatrends.
- Dan Tapscott, technology expert and author of the bestseller, The Digital Economy,
- Faith Popcorn, trend watcher and author of the bestseller, Clicking,
- Don Peppers, marketing genius and co-author of the bestseller, Enterprise One to One.
The moderator for the event will be Marshall Loeb, editor-at-large at Fortune magazine and a renowned author.
The cost of the conference is $199. The price includes lunch. To sign up for the conference, call 1-800-262-3795.
Rider University's Lawrenceville campus is located five miles south of Princeton and three miles north of Trenton on Route 206 in Lawrence Township, NJ. The campus is one-half mile south of exit 7A of Interstate 95.
