APRIL 8, 1997- PAPPAS TO SERVE AS PANELIST AT RIDER UNIVERSITY'S SMALL BUSINESS OUTLOOK FORUM

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Congressman Michael Pappas of the 12th U.S. Congressional District will head a contingent of panelists at Rider University's Small Business Outlook presentation and panel discussion on Monday, April 21, 1997.

The program, sponsored by Rider's Graduate Business Students Association, will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Student Center Theater on Rider's Lawrenceville campus. It is free and open to the public.

Joining Pappas on the speakers' platform will be Jeffrey Stoller, vice president of human resources for the New Jersey Business and Industry Association; Jim Leonard, vice president of government relations for the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce; and Joe Fernicola, business information center manager for the South Jersey Region of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Also participating in the open discussion will be the Small Business Development Center and the Senior Core of Retired Executives.

The forum will have a two part format. The first part will consist of a 15 minute presentation by each participant; the second part will have the speakers form a panel to initiate discussion on small business issues and entertain questions from the audience.

Rider University's Lawrenceville campus is located five miles south of Princeton and three miles north of Trenton on Route 206 in Lawrence Township, NJ. The campus is one-half mile south of exit 7A of Interstate 95.
