MARCH 3, 1997- SAATCHI & SAATCHI ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK AT RIDER, MARCH 26

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Stuart Klein, senior vice president, management director of Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of New York, will speak at 11:30 a.m. in the Rider University College of Business Administration's auditorium, Wednesday, March 26. The public may attend this talk.

His presentation is under the auspices of the Ambassador Program of The Advertising Educational Foundation. The ambassador program sends high-level, seasoned advertising or marketing executives, such as Klein, to colleges and universities across the country to discuss with students and faculty the advertising process, how it fits into our economic and social structure, and the issues surrounding advertising.

In addition to his presentation, Klein will speak to the Advertising Campaign class and the Advertising, Copy and Layout class in the afternoon.

Klein joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1995 to manage a portion of the Johnson & Johnson account, working on the seasonal and pediatric Tylenol businesses, as well as the Mylanta franchise. Recently, he has been managing the long-distance and small business portions of the Bell Atlantic account, plus Paine Webber.

A 1981 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance, with a major in marketing, Klein has also worked with McCann-Erickson; Scali, McCabe, Sloves; Wells, Rich, Greene; and Colgate-Palmolive.

Dr. Tina Lowrey, associate professor of advertising at Rider, is organizing the program.

Rider University's Lawrenceville campus is located five miles south of Princeton and three miles north of Trenton on Route 206 in Lawrence Township, NJ.  The campus is one-half mile south of exit 7A of Interstate 95.
