MARCH 26, 1998- ANNUAL YOM HASHOAH SERVICE SCHEDULED FOR RIDER'S GILL CHAPEL
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Vivian Orbach-Smith, a journalist and author, will serve as speaker for the annual Yom Hashoah Interfaith Commemorative Service on Sunday April 19, 1998 at Rider University's Gill Memorial Chapel. The program is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
Orbach-Smith, a voice of the second generation who reflects on growing up in the shadow of the Holocaust, is the co-author with her father of the book Souring Underground: A Young Fugitive's Life in Nazi Berlin.
The service will be sponsored by the Julius and Dorothy Koppelman Holocaust/Genocide Resource Center and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Princeton/Mercer/Bucks.
