DECEMBER 7, 1998- TWENTY-FIVE STUDENTS CITED IN NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT GUIDE

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Twenty-five Rider University students have been selected for inclusion in the 1998 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, a national publication honoring the top students in higher education across the United States.

Each student selected will have a short biography printed in the directory and receive a certificate noting the citation.

Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, which was first published in 1934, selects an elite group of students from more than 1,900 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign nations. Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory include outstanding students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success.

Rider University is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian institution with a 353-acre campus in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and a 23-acre campus in Princeton, New Jersey. The University offers 58 undergraduate programs and 17 graduate programs in the Colleges of Business Administration; Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences; Continuing Studies; and Westminster Choir College. Ninety-three percent of Rider's faculty members hold doctoral or other appropriate advanced degrees.
