OCTOBER 28, 1998- KONDRACH NAMED ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Carol Kondrach of Pennington, NJ, has been named Rider University's associate vice president for information technologies. She has served as acting associate vice president for the past 11 months.
Prior to coming to Rider in 1993, Kondrach was a management consultant and software analyst at Deloitte and Touche. She served as director of academic computing and user services at Rider for more than four years before becoming the acting associate vice president. She has a B.S. degree in mathematics/computer sciences from LaSalle University.
"Carol and her accomplishments are widely known at Rider, and I am happy that she will help us build on them for the future," said Phyllis Frakt, vice president for academic affairs and provost.
Her accomplishments at Rider include: managing the installation and maintenance of the University's high speed, fiber optic voice, video, and data network; expanding general access computing facilities to include over 200 PCs in an array of campus facilities; developing and implementing policies for computer use and support; and instituting campus-wide technology training.
Most recently, Kondrach worked with a team of advisors to set priorities for implementing New Jersey technology funding and has begun to put these new technology projects in place.
Rider University is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian institution with a 353-acre main campus in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and a 23-acre campus in Princeton, New Jersey. The University offers 58 undergraduate programs and 17 graduate programs in the Colleges of Business Administration; Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences; Continuing Studies; and Westminster Choir College. Ninety-three percent of the faculty hold doctoral or other appropriate advanced degrees.
