Janaury 25, 1999- RIDER UNIVERSITY APPOINTS STASOLLA AS ASSISTANT TO PRESIDENT
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Debora Z. Stasolla of Morrisville, PA has been appointed assistant to the president at Rider University. She began her new duties on Thursday, January 21.
In this position, Stasolla will serve as the chief aide to Rider president Bart Luedeke and will coordinate the management of administrative, operating, and budget affairs for his office. She will also provide support for the University's Board of Trustees and will serve as the institutional liaison to the New Jersey State Commission on Higher Education. Other duties include assisting the president in researching and drafting speeches, documents, and presentations, and monitoring University projects in conjunction with various division heads.
Prior to assuming her new post, Stasolla had served as Rider's associate director of development information services since 1997. She was also the University's director of development information and communications from 1988 to 1992. In the years between her employment at Rider, she was the owner and vice president of AmeriSpec Home Inspection Service, based in Fairfax, VA.
"Debbie has worked with many members of the Rider community and is widely known as a friendly, bright, and collaborative problem-solver," said Dr. Luedeke. "I look forward to working with her in this new capacity."
Stasolla received an M.B.A. from Rider in 1991. She also holds a Bachelor and a Master degree in social work from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
