January 26, 1999- TOP RIDER STUDENTS ATTEND FIRST UNION LEADERSHIP SEMINAR

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- About 40 Rider University students recently had the opportunity to hone leadership skills and traits at the University's fall Student Leadership Seminar at First Union Bank in Ewing Township.

Rider faculty, administrators, and alumni led the students through educational sessions on such topics as goal setting and action plans, ethical decision making, networking, self-motivation and self-esteem, coping skills, and team building.

Students were selected for participation based on their campus leadership involvement, community activity, leadership goals, and academic success.
