Information for Students
If you completed your degree requirements in December 2007, or plan to in May or August 2008, please review the following important information:
Before you are eligible to participate in the Commencement ceremony, you must have:
- filed a degree application with your academic dean’s office;
- paid all financial obligations to the University; and
- returned all books to the Library.
If you have any questions about your graduation eligibility, contact your dean as soon as possible. Please disregard this notice if you will not fulfill your graduation requirements before August 2008. December 2008 graduates should plan to walk in May 2009.

Academic Attire
Please pick up your cap and gown BEFORE Commencement day. They will continue to be distributed from the Office of the President, Moore Library, Room 101, Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Student ID is required for cap and gown pick up. If you are unable to come to the office during this time, please e-mail commencement@rider.edu to make alternate arrangements.
Special Seating
Special seating will be provided for students and guests with disabilities. Handicapped parking areas and golf cart transportation to special seating will also be provided. Please contact the Office of the President at 609-896-5001 or e-mail commencement@rider.edu for more information.

Commencement Announcements
Commencement announcements will be available for purchase in the University Store in late March 2008. Diploma frames, balloons and other Rider merchandise may be ordered through the University Store beginning March 31, 2008. Please contact the University Store at 609-896-5121 for more information.
Flower Orders
Flowers may be ordered through Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company beginning March 31, 2008. Please call 1-888-497-7363 and indicate that you are ordering flowers for the Rider University Commencement on either Thursday, May 8th (if you are a Graduate or CCS student) or Friday, May 9th (if you are an undergraduate student graduating from the College of Business Administration or College of Liberal Arts, Education and Sciences).
