September 17 - Rider Cuts Ribbon for new Biology Lab

Rider University President Mordechai Rozanski (far left), prepares to cut the ribbon to the newly renovated freshman biology lab in Rider’s Science and Technology Center. The new lab features improved technology and flexible workspace for student research. Students will have access to laptop computers so that they can do simulation work and mathematical modeling in addition to hands on research. Assisting President Rozanski are (second from left to right) Phyllis Frakt, vice president for academic affairs and provost; Joseph Nadeau, dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education; and Freeman Dyson, professor emeritus of physics at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and a Rider Science Advisory Member for many years.
