Twenty-three Sanda University students arrived on campus early Wednesday night in the midst of a cold, wet light snow to a warm Rider welcome. Much planning took place over the past two months to provide the warm welcome, arrange orientation sessions during the days preceding the start of the second semester and help them get acclimated to their new environment. Each Sanda student also has a Rider student mentor. |

Angela Treannie, a senior biology major, is a backup goalie on Rider University's men's club ice hockey team. “I absolutely love playing,” said Treannie, a senior biology major at Rider. “It can be difficult balancing my schedule with assignments and lab work, but I feel like I need to play hockey." Last year she devoted her time to her studies after transferring from Mercer County Community College. |
